His Unified Body (H.U.B)

Unified – united into a whole. Unify is both verb and an adjective. Unified means to operate as a single entity. United into a whole, such as the Church body.

Here at First Baptist Church, we have over 30 ministries! Within each ministry is an area that needs to be filled, and you just may be the one to fill that slot. As a part of the church body, it is important to unite with a ministry that will use the gift God has given you.

Seek a ministry…serve in a ministry. Please call the church office (352-726-1252) and let the receptionist know your desire to serve. Your name will be given to someone who will contact you so that you may be directed to a ministry leader. You may also email hub@fbcinverness.com and leave your contact details and areas of interest to you.

“Romans 12:4-6a” – For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly.

I am only one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I should do.
And with the help of God, I will do!

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
