Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.

Citrus County Blessings

The Citrus County Blessings Program provides weekend meals for children on the federal school breakfast and lunch assisted-meals program. Many of these children would go without a meal from Friday until they return to school on Monday without the food provided by Citrus County Blessings.

First Baptist Church Inverness collects Peanut Butter and Jelly in plastic containers to be distributed to the children at Pleasant Grove Elementary and Inverness Primary! Your individual contributions mean so much to this worthwhile program. Not only are the children blessed, but we are all blessed to be part of the First Baptist Inverness family—God is so good, all the time.

About The Father’s Business

About The Father’s Business is an Outreach Ministry that sends out greeting cards, makes phone calls, and prays for individual needs. They contact visitors to the church and members that have been absent. About The Father’s Business organizes the FBC Inverness Phone Ministry to contact our homebound and other members to check on them and see if they have any needs. If you would like to be a part of About The Father’s Business, either making phone calls, sending cards, or praying, please contact Pat Osborne or Pam Pittman.

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
