All services are built around creating an atmosphere of closeness with God through traditional worship, sound, and preaching of the gospel. With ministries for all age groups and walks of life, we are confident you will find the place God has for you here at First Baptist Church Inverness.
If you have not visited in person, we invite you to come worship with us one Sunday morning soon. Our Sunday Worship Service begins at 10:30 am Sunday morning. Come ready to encounter God through powerful music and the preaching of the Word. Our Sunday Service is also available on our FBC Inverness Facebook page or on WYKE Spectrum/Comcast Channel 16 and Digital Channel 47 at 10:30 am.
On Wednesday Night, our Mid-Week Worship Service is at 6:00 pm. You may attend in person or view it on our FBC Inverness Facebook page. The Youth and Children also meet at 6:00 pm on Wednesday night.
We offer Bible study in several ways. Small Groups at FBC Inverness happen on nearly everyday of the week, and they are a great place to make friends and study the Bible at the same time. There are groups for men, women, married couples, singles, middle schoolers, and high schoolers and they are the place where true community happens. If you want to join a more traditional bible study, in the form of a Sunday School-type class, we have several that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Children age PreK through 5th grade have Anchored By Christ Kidz Club on Sunday morning at 9:00 am for a light breakfast, great music, and fun interactive group activities.
The church office is open from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Pastor Byron’s 3-minute daily devotions air on WYKE immediately following the Citrus Today show. The devotions will air four times a day, Monday through Friday at 9:56 am, 12:26 pm, 7:56 pm, or 11:56 pm.
